ACECNJ’s membership participated in the annual two-day fall conference, complete with networking and educational opportunities. The conference began on Sunday with a beautiful day of golf at the noteworthy, Galloway National Golf Club. In the evening, special presentations were made to retired Chief Engineer of the New Jersey Turnpike Authority Rich Raczynski and former Chairwoman of ACECNJ Lissette Miquel.
On Monday, panel discussions occurred on the future of NJ’s transportation, passenger rail and the rebuilding of NJ’s regions heavily affected by Superstorm Sandy. Breaking up the day, Governor Edward G. Rendell highlighted the conference with his keynote remarks on the importance of investing in our nation’s infrastructure. The Governor also was available for questions and signed copies of his new memoir, A Nation of Wusses, How America’s Leaders Lost the Guts to Make Us Great.
The conference’s venue was at the stunning Revel Resort and Casino in Atlantic City. ACECNJ is extremely thankful to its sponsors, without their support this event would have been unthinkable. Thank you again to our Fall Conference Sponsors.
