Bio: MBO Engineering, LLC was founded on experience in traffic and safety engineering in the public sector. MBO has expertise in the investigation, design, approval, and evaluation of all traffic control devices and a thorough knowledge of the latest standards such as the Manual on Uniform Traffic Control Devices (MUTCD). Staff have developed and prepared low-cost quickfix solutions as well as larger more in-depth recommendations for improvement for vehicular, pedestrian and bicycle facilities. MBO has collected and analyzed crash and roadway data to understand the nature of the challenges at specific hot-spot locations as well as corridor-wide locations. Countermeasures might be unique to an intersection or involve systemic recommendations to be applied regionally. MBO is forward-looking, seeking to incorporate the latest technology, practices and innovations to provide the correct solutions to meet our clients’ needs.
