Bio: AID is a small consulting Civil engineering firm established in 1998 that specializes in infrastructure evaluation and design utilizing the latest technology. AID also operates an AMRL accredited laboratory for the testing of hot mix asphalt, concrete and soils. The company is comprised of engineers with many years of practical experience in design and inspection of roadways, bridges, airports, and ports. AID also excels at statistical modeling, database development, specification development, and material testing. AID employs state of the art technologies to perform services such as: Pavement Engineering and management, Bridge Deck Evaluation and Design, Geotechnical Engineering, Life Cycle Cost Analysis, highway design, Traffic Engineering, Traffic Control services, Material engineering, Material QA/QC Testing and Inspection services for all types of new and rehabilitated infrastructure.

AID makes use of non-destructive (NDT) and destructive testing methods as is necessary for each project site.

Some of the testing methods are: Coring, Ground Penetrating Radar (GPR) International Roughness Index (IRI), Falling Weight Deflectometer (FWD), Light Weight Deflectometer (LWD), Dynamic Cone Penetrometer (DCP), Chain Drag, Nuclear Gauge, Chloride Content.
